About Dr. Susan Hanold

Dr. Susan Hanold is a talent strategy expert, coach and thought leader with 20+ years of success in HR strategy in senior positions at ADP, Accenture, Invensys, Celanese, and PepsiCo. Susan was the vice president for Strategic Advisory Services at ADP, a $15B global strategy and digital technology company where she led the Talent and M&A consulting practices. Susan created ADP’s client Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) Maturity Model that provides a snapshot of a company’s current DE&I efforts while simultaneously achieving their business goals. Prior to joining ADP, Susan served as vice president of organizational development with Bear Stearns, created the coaching model for YUM! Brands and served as a change management consultant at Accenture. In her previous leadership roles, she has designed, managed, and facilitated Leadership Development programs for all management levels. This included leadership development, succession planning, 360-degree feedback and one-on-one individual coaching sessions. Susan has created and delivered global human capital management workshops for many of the Fortune 500 covering key areas such as M&A best practices, HR technology, data analytics, future of work, diversity, and talent trends. Susan leads the Dallas HR Merger & Acquisition (M&A) Roundtable, a peer-learning forum for M&A professionals. As a graduate of the Corporate Director Accelerate Leader Program, NACD Accelerate, Susan brings her board experience through her work with the American Cancer Society (ACS) - North Texas Chapter. Susan was selected as one of the “Top Women in HR Technology,” by Recruiting Daily, nominated on the “Most Inclusive HR Influencer List,” and received the Readership Award by Training Industry Magazine. She recently served as an adjunct professor for Southern Methodist University teaching a graduate course on leading teams and as a guest lecturer for Silicon Valley HCM Innovation Center and the University of Texas at Dallas. Susan earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Tech University. She also holds a Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy in Leadership Development with a minor in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University.
